So you need a high output of light of some form on your Toyota Tundra truck for those nighttime projects like freeway lane extensions. You already installed LEDs in your headlights and fog lights but they’re not quite enough. You decide on an LED light bar, but you have little tolerance for one of those bulky, double-row lightbars and even less room on your Toyota truck to mount one. What do you do?
Slim LED light bars are a great solution for your offroading adventures or work projects if you have no way of mounting outside of your pick up truck. It is possible to secure an LED light bar behind the grille and that’s exactly where our ultra slim 126W CREE LED light bar is made to be mounted on the 2014 and later Toyota Tundra.
Our slim LED light bar comes to you at 45 inches long and houses 42 LED diodes, each holding 3 watts of power for a total of 126 watts of output.
Installing the ultra slim LED light bar is a simple matter of removing the front grille, screwing in the exclusively designed mounting brackets onto existing bolting holes, securing the single-row LED light bar in between, and wiring it using the included relay wiring harness. The most difficult sounding part of this process is the removing of the grille but as you’ll see, that is also a straightforward step.
The Toyota Tundra front grill is secured by the six screws circled in red. Once you unscrew these six bolts, you can easily pop out the grille and pop it back in once you are done.
You can see how sleek and subtle the slender, single row LED light bar is set behind the grill of this Tundra truck. If you were to look at the front grill, you wouldn’t know it was there until you kneel down to reveal the LED light bar. Turn on the slimline LED light bar when nighttime rolls around and you’ll see how well the shine floods through the gap of the Toyota grille. Our single row LED light bars are available on many other trucks so if you do not drive a Toyota Tundra, don’t fret! We likely have this behind-grill solution for you.
