When it comes to full sized sedans, the Nissan Maxima ranks highest among the likes of the Toyota Avalon, Hyundai Azera, and the Chevy Impala. Straddling the line between practicality and luxury, The Maxima is a premium-tier car that offers standard luxury elements for a comfortable ride. Heated leather seats make for smooth entry into the spacey cabin, and an infotainment system rounds out the comprehensive and practical interior. At the front end Nissan created a “V-Motion” look that makes its curbside presence hard to ignore. But there’s always room for enhancement; just when you think you’ve been wowed, the RGB demon eyes LED strip module engages and you get blown away.
We’ve been flooding our social media channels with Subaru WRX content lately to promote our LED daytime running light fog bezel. USDM Subaru cars typically lack in one area or another compared to their JDM counterparts. In the WRX’s case, it’s missing a set of daytime running lights separate from the head light housing. JDM fog bezels come standard with an LED strip light to act as daytime running lights, and from afar really lend itself to the tuner aesthetic of the WRX and WRX STi. But while U.S. market Subaru WRXs lack the complete LED package in the front, they are also lacking in the back end. This is where the 3-in-1 LED rear fog light assembly kit comes in.
Coming into my third year volunteering for Anime Expo, I had just recently discovered the world of itasha, anime-wrapped JDM cars (with few exceptions) featuring the driver’s favorite character, waifu, or anime series. As a paid employee of iJDMTOY, I had to make at least one visit of the car section in the entertainment hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center. So equipped with a more adequate camera, I started snapping away with the office DSLR.
In many people’s eyes, daytime running lights (DRLs) are a function that are just there; it only exists so other drivers can see you. DRLs aren’t very exciting to talk about either because they are not very bright nor are they fun to look at. And if you’re not a car fanatic, you might not even know that DRLs are a part of your headlight assembly! (honestly what normal person can tell?) However, one dear customer DOES know what they are and knows how to utilize the Audi A6-style xenon white LED daytime running lights to its full potential.
LED halo rings can be spotted in many sporty cars such as the Scion FR-S, Chevrolet Camaro, Ford Mustang, and Dodge Challengers. Angel eye halo rings accent projector head lights in such a way that commands attention and awe from other drivers and pedestrians. And while many cars are capable of sporting head lamp halo rings, perhaps they are most synonymous with BMW sedans that carry kits such as the 7000K xenon white SMD LED BMW angel eyes halo rings.
