One of the more expensive car models to roll into our storefront, the latest generation Nissan GT-R was spotted one day and I couldn’t wait to come down and take some shots. The GT-R is definitely a top-tier sports car in terms of its full-body appearance and JDM aura, especially in stock. There’s no need to do much custom work to bring out its potential but a few lights and accessories here and there certainly don’t hurt. @wildboyZLA came by to spruce up his side marker lights with LED light bulbs.
Many pick up trucks like the Dodge RAM boasts a fairly powerful look and aura that is felt wherever it drives. With its signature ram insignia, the 1500 is often a truck model that is easily spotted. A powerful drive, plentiful storage space, and a comfortable interior that hugs even the most rugged guy are all things you can expect when you step into a Dodge RAM 1500. Such a stunning profile can only be bolstered by a 42″ double-row LED light bar.
A few months ago, I started taking notice of the different kinds of cars that come by our storefront and started paying attention to the custom work done. I decided that taking pictures of our customers’ work in progress was a good way to get to know them and if anything, have material to post and write about. Many of them were JDM oriented and Sam’s Scion FR-S/Toyota 86 was no exception. I went downstairs to take a closer look.
While custom work can take a lot of time and effort to execute well, the added LED lights and the boosted aura that your car gives off is often worth it. Most LED daytime running lights are restrictive in that they are exclusively made for their intended car models. Universal fit DRLs also exist but they are constrained by a set shape. So what are your options if you want the complete custom look and don’t mind the retrofitting work? Use the high power flexible LED daytime running lights/puddle lamps!
Subiefest was a great showcase of the many Subaru car models in the local area as well as some out of state. Coming in early to prep our booth, I saw the line stretch all the way around Baldwin Ave. leading to the Santa Anita Racetrack entrance. While only catching a glimpse of the plethora of Subarus, I could already tell that there were gonna be MANY WRX models on display. I was not wrong.
