Did you know that not all halo rings are created equally? There are different levels and designs of halo rings, with some styles more exclusive than others. This particular set is called the DTM LED Angel Eyes and are known for their distinctive flat-bottomed horseshoe shape. These U-shaped LED halo rings have an acrylic cover that allows the rings to emit a soft outer glow and is regarded as a higher end installation. The acrylic cover gives the halo ring a 3D effect to give it an more overall distinguished and premium look. This style of halo rings can be seen on the newest models, making this modification a great choice for BMW owners who have slightly older Bimmers. This new addition will spice up the look and allows owners to keep their BMW and add a nice flair to the headlights.
We all know that the 1 series is the cheapest model in the BMW line, there’s not much that’s going to be done to the car until it’s phased out so don’t expect too many changes to be made. One thing that’s slated to be different is the front end since it’s been widely criticized since day one. The new look is rumored to look like the 2 series coupe since the 2 series is significantly more attractive.
We are extremely interested in the LED facet (obviously) so it’s great to hear that the new prototypes have LED strips in the back. The interior should remain about the same, so it looks like the upgrade will be all about the exterior.
The BMW 1 Series has been spotted doing testing to cater to the consumer market following the success of cheaper entry level sedans. This is to compete with entry level sedans from Mercedes Benz and Audi, including the CLA and the A3. The car will have a different design from the hatchback due for an LCI next year as well. BMW fans can expect this car out on the market in late 2015 or early 2016 with a price that’s lower than the 2 Series.
