The LA Auto Show is here again, and it’s one of our favorite car shows to attend since it showcases concept future cars with cars of the present. Here are a couple interesting tidbits we noticed this year:
As most of us are well aware, the Scion brand is no more and has been dismantled after 13 years of giving us some of the coolest, most affordably hip cars on the roads. While majority of Scion models have been completely discontinued like the the Scion tC, iQ, xB, and xD. We can still see remnant of the Scion brand that’s been absorbed into the Toyota lineup. These former Scion models are now branded as Toyota, with the extremely Scion FR-S rebadged as the Toyota 86, the Scion iA as the Yaris iA, and the Scion iM as the Corolla iM. Plus, we also see the Toyota line expanding, with the newly unveiled Toyota C-HR.
Halo Rings are probably one of the most recognized lighting designs on cars nowadays, ever since they were first introduced on BMW. There are plenty of retrofit halo rings available for all kinds of cars and trucks, plus halo rings come in tons of colors as well. Check out this Dodge RAM with RGB LED halo rings for projector headlight retrofit, and see what an upgrade this lighting addition does to improve the aura of the truck. The specially designed ring shape is a great fit for the 2013-2016 Dodge RAM and the brightness is two times brighter than those run-of-the-mill conventional RGB rings on the market. These Dodge RAM RGB LED Angel Eyes definitely transform your truck into a formidable display of heavy duty form with an incredible light show on top.
The Detroit Auto Show of 2016 has unveiled quite a lot of automobile advancements in the industry that take the driving experience further than it has ever been before. One car that captured our attention is the new 2017 Mercedes E-Class that takes autonomous driving for civilians onto a whole other level. The new sensors, camera features, and lighting technology equipped on this vehicle are absolutely breathtaking and make driving something that would have only been dreamt of in movies. Here are some of the best driving assist features seen on the new E-Class:
We just love the round headlights on the Jeep and this one at SEMA’s got all the goods! The Jeeps we saw had all kinds of work lights, utility bars, and crazy headlights that make it look so badass. It looks like some of these jeeps even have some pretty dope looking LED headlights that would be great for off-roading and adventure trekking.
We were pretty impressed with all the truck lighting at SEMA and since the lights looked so good on the monster trucks, we are going to show you some of the coolest truck lights at SEMA.
Of course everyone would notice a raised monster truck, but the ones we saw are so aggressive and badass that we just zoned in on all the crazy upgrades and lights. This LED truck light apparatus looks like it’s good for daytime running lights, driving lights, search lights, and all kinds of functions. All trucks should have these kinds of heavy duty LED lighting assembly since you never know when you would need some work lights or off-road lighting at a moment’s notice. You could install a smaller apparatus or a full on bar depending on preference. These trucks at SEMA have everything installed so it looks like you can never have too much lights!
