The new future car 2016 Acura NSX spotted testing yesterday on the Nuburgring has caught on fire during the session. The occupants in the car have reportedly escaped virtually unharmed but this inferno just means that Acura has officially entered the supercar territory. The well known exotics like Ferrari and Lamborghini have caught on fire before, so catching on fire has become somewhat of a cult requirement before a company can join the supercars category.
With a touch of irony, this NSX is the exact same car photographers caught only yesterday has been reduced to a mass of charred metal remains. You shouldn’t be worrying about it too much though, as car manufacturers really test their new vehicles to their ultimate limit before they fix all of the issues accordingly.
Based on these new spy shot photos, it looks like the future car Acura NSX is back. While it will still bear the Honda name in most countries, the new NSX has tons of different colors, badging, and grilles for a more fierce and aggressive look. The shape of the new NSX is visibly evolving with extra sculpting given for the doors and a really nice side intake. This NSX will also get a really nice LED treatment, just like many Acura models are equipped with a higher end lighting system.
What’s a mystery is the car’s hood vents because it’s so carefully covered under all of that camo wrap but it should be pretty impressive. The price tag on this new NSX is sure to be over six-figures, giving it some credibility when it asserts its status as a luxury brand. The NSX will have a dual-clutch automatic transmission with a hybrid powertrain V-6 engine.
The OEM replacement LED License Plate Lamp is carefully created with high quality 18 pieces of SMD LED lights that are way brighter than their stock versions. This super high power license plate lamp directly replaces the OEM license plate lamps to give you a much brighter look that it’s almost unbelievable. The xenon white color is a punchy burst of bright color that’s just leagues above that stock light that’s barely visible, even in the dark. The even illumination makes sure that your license plate looks great entirely so you wouldn’t have to worry about any part of the license plate holder looking spotty.
These red or clear smoked lens LED bumper reflectors add a great touch to your Lexus IS and makes it a tad bit different from other Lexus vehicles on the road. They can replace the stock reflector and function as the add-on brake lights as well, so you can have the full pick of what you want to do with your car. These bumper reflectors give your beloved Lexus IS a little bit of oomph and give it an extra smidgen of character that sets it apart from everyone else.
We introduce the world’s first double-sided festoon LED bulb that had LED lights on both sides for double the illumination and double the light output. This double-sided festoon is obviously much, much brighter than the conventional design, due to the sheer number of LEDs on the bulb. These 2-Way Shine DE3175 LED lights are specially designed so that it not only outputs light from the map/dome position, but it also reflects light back from the backing to make the light output even greater. If you’ve ever tried holding a flashlight directly into a mirror and have practically gotten blinded from the light shining back at you, the same concept applies here, except you won’t be blinded. Rather, you’ll probably marvel in awe at just how much brightness is emitted from your map/dome lights!
