Cadillac CTS Reverse Lights: 3157 LED Bulb

The JDM super bright xenon white 40-SMD T25 3156 / 3157 LED back up lights, indicator, corner, blinker, brake, and tail car light bulbs has a transverse design. It allows for stage 1 and stage 2 lighting modes, for tail light application. It lights up with 40 1210 SMD LED chips made by Cree Electronics. The lighting output is about three to four times the lighting output of regular LED car bulbs. This 3156 bulb can also fit 3056 bulb housings. The 3157 bulb size is also available and is compatible with 3057 bulb housings.
As with any LED bulb used for corner lights, a pair of load resistors is required for the bulbs to prevent hyper-flashing or further malfunctioning problems.
This LED car bulb is featured on the 2005 Cadillac CTS pictured below. When used for backup / reverse lights, you would not need load resistors. LED Reverse Lights – 3 SMD High Power LED – BMW E60 530i

A customer of installed new error free LED bulbs for his 2006 BMW E60 530i on reverse lights.
He purchased the 2825 W5W error free LED bulbs that are equipped with 3 pieces of high power 3-emitter 5050 SMD CREE LED chips. It comes with a built-in CAN-bus load resistor to prevent error messages on dashboard.
The brightness of these 3 piece high power 5050 SMD is equivalent to a 24 piece 1210 SMD LED bulb. Since these bulbs are longer (1.29 inches) it requires enough space to fit in the housing. We’ve also done extensive tests on this product and it lights up without flickering.
There is a 360 angle shine on these LED bulbs. Try it on. Below is a picture of 2006 BMW E60 530i with LED backup lights.

921 LED Bulbs | 9-SMD LED Reverse Lights On Infiniti G37

We installed all new iJDMTOY LED reverse lights on a 2008 Infiniti G37. We used 9-SMD LED bulbs with 5050 SMD chips for a brighter shine. Also for this particular LED bulb, the length is longer than traditional 168 bulbs. Therefore, we measured the bulb length 1.40 inches, to fit the application of reverse lights of an Infiniti G37. So the product fits perfectly!
If the bulb is a good replacement, it can replace stock 168, 194, 921, 2825 bulbs. For a brighter shine, definitely go for 5050 SMD chips.
