Last month, I wrote a blurb touting my admiration for the Lexus IS series as well as its upgradability when it comes to LED lighting. Coming from a Toyota background (my parents have been driving Toyotas for many years and has passed down their RAV4 to me), my adoration for the Lexus IS 250 comes from brand loyalty, the luxury vehicle’s sleek design, and the thought that I can see myself driving a Lexus well into my adulthood. And though I don’t really see myself adding aftermarket parts to it if I do come to own an IS 250, I can’t ignore its upgradability when it comes to JDM style LED fog lights. I discovered some pictures of the JDM style LED fog lights on a Lexus IS 350 that was featured in AutoCon 2016.
We know that you guys love to customize your front end car lights, be it your headlights, fog lights etc. We have found that among the LED bulbs we carry, the four most popular colors of LED light bulbs that are likely used to decorate fog lights/headlights are:
Pure White – a simple white with no other colors mixed in
6500K HID Matching White – otherwise known as xenon white or cool white
Ice Blue or Aqua
Brilliant Blue or 20000K
The following is a series of frequently asked questions that we encounter on a regular basis. These questions are asked more often than others, out of the many different kinds we receive. Hopefully, these sound outs will help you make an informed decision next time you purchase from us.
Our iJDMTOY LED light bars greatly enhances a car, truck, or SUV’s appearance as well as its drivers’ visibility in rural areas such as a nighttime construction site, countryside, or mountains. As with any form of electronics, LED light bars do run on power. So whenever its power source diminishes, it doesn’t light up all the way through and may react in the following ways:
The light dims
Shuts off entirely
This phenemonon doesn’t have anything to do with the LED light bar at all. Check out the video below or read on.
Have you ever noticed that when you turn on your car, your LED lights strobe after installing them? If you haven’t, great! But for those who have seen the couple of seconds of strobing, you’re not the only one. We here at iJDMTOY do get a couple of calls from customers who claim it’s a flickering effect. However since it only lasts a moment, it’s more of a strobing effect rather than a flickering or flashing effect. The strobing is actually a common occurrance among newly installed LED light bulbs and is nothing to worry about. For the majority who have never noticed this, here’s a short video:
Lots of cars on the road today come standard with halogen daytime running lights. While halogen DRL is a decent starter, no one wants to stick with halogen for very long, especially when there are options like LED daytime running lights with a quick modification. You can opt for LED daytime running lights with this set of 25W high power CREE PWY24W PW24W LED Daytime Running Light replacement bulbs to give your car a whole new look. LED really transforms a car to it’s classier counterpart in such a short time.
