Here comes the best of the best, drum roll please!
LED halo rings are still crowned the king of all lighting mods and ever since BMW first came out with halo rings on the E39 5-Series, the rest of the world exploded in unison of approval. Whether or not you have a Euro, JDM, or American car, it’s pretty much guaranteed that LED halo rings will make your ride look bomb all day, every day. I can’t think of another mod that is so universally accepted or popular. At SEMA, halo rings were everywhere and we gathered some of our favorites.
Anyone who knows a bit about our company knows we are huge fans of Osram and are extremely inspired by the innovations and technological advancements that they’ve made. So predictably, it was a no brainer that we stop at the SEMA Osram booth to see what they had for the world. We were just in time for their big LED headlight module reveal on a Ford F-150 reveal where we gazed at the sample LED headlight in amazement and awe.
Continuing on with our SEMA updates, we’ve spotted some more awesome LED upgrades that’s sure to make your ride as kickass as it can get. Nowadays, you can add a great LED lighting scheme to make your car as customized as possible, and this great sight at SEMA is no exception. RGB LED engine bay lighting is the must-have upgrade when you’re big in the show world. I saw plenty of Scion FR-S as they are way up there when it comes to everything show and track related, but this RGB LED engine bay lighting really caught my eye.
Looks like it’s that time of the year again where people from all walks of the car world gather together in Sin City’s Las Vegas Convention Center to see all of the industry’s latest products, greatest goods, and most epic car builds. There’s no mistaking that bright eyed anticipation of what this year’s SEMA show will bring and showcase. Last year, SEMA brought out 125,000 thousand people and it looks like that number will only increase year after year. While the SEMA show is not opened to the public (imagine the stampede that would cause), we are still able to attend and bring you the latest and greatest at this year’s SEMA.
Previous years featured the Nissan GTR in 2010, Chevy Camaro in 2011, the twins Scion FR-S/ Subaru BRZ in 2012, and the Lexus IS 250 350 in 2013. So what about this year?
The star of the show this year is the 2015 Ford Mustang, and more importantly, the King Cobra in all of its fierce glory. The crowd just erupted in cheers as the King Cobra was unveiled for good reason: this American bred animal brings in 600hp to the table and can conquer the quarter-mile in under 11 seconds. Just take a deep breath and absorb that info for a second.
