Continuing our SEMA 2016 coverage, today we are going to focus on some of the most iconic car lights in the auto industry. Over the course of the automotive industry, some designs have stood out more than others, including the well recognized halo rings, Mustang triple-stripe, round Jeep headlights, and much more. The cars at SEMA look pretty unreal because of all the special upgrades that are carefully picked out, but you can also install some retrofit LED lights onto your car in a burst of SEMA inspiration.
Today’s SEMA coverage is all about trucks and truck lights – you can’t miss the aggressive and formidable presence of trucks and we naturally gravitate towards the most tricked out trucks. One of our favorites is the lifted teal colored Ford truck with a lower bumper LED light bar perfectly positioned to give off the brightest output but not be obtrusive either. We’ve got out own collection of truck LED light bars that you can browse through to make your truck look like the ones featured at SEMA.
This is a special year for the Chevy, because it’s the Camaro’s 50th anniversary. It’s pretty surreal to see the iconic car celebrating 50 years since its inception, so it’s practically a no-brainer that the Camaro will get a feature at this year’s SEMA. Here’s some of the featured concepts showcased by Chevy this year:
Camaro Turbo AutoX
The AutoX name refers to autocross, with a 2.0 liter engine and an upgraded suspension, brakes, exhaust, and air intake. These upgrades make the AutoX very appealing to younger enthusiasts, and those who are just getting into the car game.
Some notable little accessories on the AutoX is the front tow hook, Euro-style side markers, rear spoiler, and a GoPro camera mount for enthusiasts who like to spend their free time on the track.
We just love the round headlights on the Jeep and this one at SEMA’s got all the goods! The Jeeps we saw had all kinds of work lights, utility bars, and crazy headlights that make it look so badass. It looks like some of these jeeps even have some pretty dope looking LED headlights that would be great for off-roading and adventure trekking.
We were pretty impressed with all the truck lighting at SEMA and since the lights looked so good on the monster trucks, we are going to show you some of the coolest truck lights at SEMA.
Of course everyone would notice a raised monster truck, but the ones we saw are so aggressive and badass that we just zoned in on all the crazy upgrades and lights. This LED truck light apparatus looks like it’s good for daytime running lights, driving lights, search lights, and all kinds of functions. All trucks should have these kinds of heavy duty LED lighting assembly since you never know when you would need some work lights or off-road lighting at a moment’s notice. You could install a smaller apparatus or a full on bar depending on preference. These trucks at SEMA have everything installed so it looks like you can never have too much lights!
