While I can’t imagine adding aftermarket parts to what to me is the perfect car to have, its hard to ignore the upgradability of the Lexus IS. Besides a new set of rims, one part that can be easily upgraded is its set of fog lights. Fog lights add to the lighting capabilities of the Lexus’s head lights and daytime running lights. And even though the stock fog lights are decent enough as it is, wouldn’t it be nice to change its color? With the JDM style 15W high powered LED fog lamps, you can.
When it comes to our extension wiring harness sockets wire, some customers come to us saying the sockets will not fit each other because they look different. So when they need to extend their wires for their LED lights on their Jeep Wrangler, their lights won’t function. There were enough responses to justify looking into so that’s what we did. After some research, we went ahead and found a 5202 size bulb to work with to see how the sockets do not fit each other. We recorded a video showing our results below:
Have you ever noticed that when you turn on your car, your LED lights strobe after installing them? If you haven’t, great! But for those who have seen the couple of seconds of strobing, you’re not the only one. We here at iJDMTOY do get a couple of calls from customers who claim it’s a flickering effect. However since it only lasts a moment, it’s more of a strobing effect rather than a flickering or flashing effect. The strobing is actually a common occurrance among newly installed LED light bulbs and is nothing to worry about. For the majority who have never noticed this, here’s a short video:
