Installing new LED License Plate Lights on Mercedes-Benz

A customer changed his 2009 Mercedes-Benz C-350 license plate lights with iJDMTOY error free LED bulbs.

The LED bulbs not only give a brighter light but change the light output from a house yellow look to an upgraded xenon white look.

You can change the bulbs in your license plate light lenses pretty easily. There are several guides to follow on iJDMTOY’s Installation and DIY Guides to make for an easy installation process.

Here are the stock pictures of his car. The LED bulb he used was a 1210 SMD T10 2825 LED bulb. It features a built-in load resistor that prevent onboard computer errors.

LED Interior Lights and LED License Plate Lights on Infiniti G35

A customer of ours installed our new iJDMTOY 360 degree shine 12-SMD T10 LED bulbs for his 2008 Infiniti G35 for license plate lights and interior map/dome lights. 

These HyperFlux T10 bulbs come with Cree Made Surface Mounting Tech (SMT) SMD LED chips. The total wattage of this LED bulb is about 2.5W.

The 360 shine and smaller SMD chips do not produce as much direct heat, and still produce brighter and more colorful light than stock tungsten bulbs.

A customer of ours installed 8000K D2S Bulbs for headlights, Error Free LED parking lights, and Error Free LED license plate lights for his Mercedes Benz E320.

The headlight bulbs used are JDM Garax D2S HID lights bulbs.

The parking lights (position lights) are Super Bright Error Free 2825 LED bulbs.

The license plate lights are Error Free 6418 LED bulbs.

Recently we installed LED License Plate Lights for a customer’s 2006 Porsche Cayenne S with Xenon White Error-Free LED 6411 6418 LED Bulbs.

They were simple to install and super bright.

Note that these LED light bulbs will not trigger a dashboard error unlike regular license plate LED lights.
