Easy Installation Guide: Volkswagen LED Interior Light Kit

This installation guide shows you how to replace the stock interior lighting in your Volkswagen with a new LED exact fit interior light package. This LED package is compatible with the 2012+ Passat, 2008+ CC, 2009+ Golf or GTi. The installation is very simple and would be a great addition to your Volkswagen and change up some of the stock accessories to make your car super personalized and unique. Some important parts to remember are the hidden screws under the cover that need to be removed to begin the installation as well as the plastic piece after that. Because these lights are up to 5 times brighter than stock, this upgrade is sure to bathe you and your passengers in a warm, white glow.

1. For the front map lamp, open the panel. You will see some screws that you need to remove in order to take off the entire map lamp assembly. You will need a pry tool or a flat-head screwdriver to pop and remove the lens.

2013 and up Honda Accord LED Daytime Running Lights Mod

While watching the television, you may have noticed that there are a lot of newer vehicles advertised on commercials and you may notice that they all start sharing the same design features. One noticeable and popular feature that has taken the automotive industry by storm is the Audi style LED daytime running lights that are now appearing on other manufacturers such as Lexus, Volkswagen, and even Honda! The new 2013+ Honda Accord V6 with the EX-L or the Touring comes equipped with factory LED daytime running lights on the bottom of the headlight. Unfortunately, not everybody can afford the several thousand dollar difference between the regular trims and the higher trim and this is where we come in; we have provided a simple to install LED solution that installs in the factory position to give it a similar look.

These Honda Accord daytime lights require no modification and does not even require the headlight to be removed to install. These lights are also plug and play with the factory parking light socket so there is no need to worry about tapping or damaging your factory wires.

Since these LED daytime lights are installed and connected to the parking lights, they will only be on at night when the headlights are on. However, we will be coming out with a system that allows these to be used as your daytime running lights and it will look like it was bought like that from the dealership. 2012 Volkswagen Jetta is a Sweet Looking Ride with LED DRL

The owner of this 2012 Volkswagen Jetta wanted a cleaner, more stylish look and purchased Jetta LED DRL bulbs from iJDMTOY for his new car. He got rid of the old yellowish DRL bulbs and now his luxury vehicle looks awesome.

The featured Jetta DRL LED Bulbs are perfect replacement of the stock 1156/7506 bulbs used in Volkswagen Jetta MK6. Being completely plug and play, these Error Free LED bulbs won’t throw any dashboard errors and will last for about 20000 working hours. 18 pieces 5050-SMD LED lights per bulb shining bright in 6000K Xenon White color are a great touch to the overall high-tech new-age appearance of any 6th-gen Volkswagen Jetta. What’s more, these bulbs are twice brighter than the stock incandescent bulbs and make the car more noticeable.

As far as the installation goes, open the hood and you will see a large cover that needs to be removed. Now you access the main headlight and the DRL (push and twist to remove). The DRL is below and to the right of the headlight if looking down into the engine bay on the driver’s side. There is a tab that you’re supposed to be able to push and twist to release the bulb housing, but it is really tight in there. Just a tip – try using your index finger and middle finger to apply pressure directly to the bulb housing and then twist it. At this point, the housing releases enough for you to grab the tab and pull out the bulb holder. Swap out the incandescent for the LED and reverse the process. Sounds pretty tricky, but it can be done. Some people offer removing the whole headlight assembly, but it’s up to you.
