Testing in the wintertime? Looks like the testing crew has taken the new plug-in hybrid E-Class up to Sweden to see how the car fares in heavy snowstorms. You can see that there’s a charging port in the rear bumper just like the GLE plug-in hybrid. So what else is going to change? The new plug-in hybrid E-Class will be a bit longer than the one out right now, but Mercedes is also going to extend the wheelbase. Get ready for a lighter and rigid 2016 W213 E-Class.
We all know that the 1 series is the cheapest model in the BMW line, there’s not much that’s going to be done to the car until it’s phased out so don’t expect too many changes to be made. One thing that’s slated to be different is the front end since it’s been widely criticized since day one. The new look is rumored to look like the 2 series coupe since the 2 series is significantly more attractive.
We are extremely interested in the LED facet (obviously) so it’s great to hear that the new prototypes have LED strips in the back. The interior should remain about the same, so it looks like the upgrade will be all about the exterior.
Anyone who knows a bit about our company knows we are huge fans of Osram and are extremely inspired by the innovations and technological advancements that they’ve made. So predictably, it was a no brainer that we stop at the SEMA Osram booth to see what they had for the world. We were just in time for their big LED headlight module reveal on a Ford F-150 reveal where we gazed at the sample LED headlight in amazement and awe.

Nowadays, you can add a great LED lighting scheme to make your car as customized as possible, and this great sight at SEMA is no exception. RGB LED engine bay lighting is the must-have upgrade when you’re big in the show world. I saw plenty of Scion FR-S as they are way up there when it comes to everything show and track related, but this RGB LED engine bay lighting really caught my eye.
Continuing on with our SEMA updates, we bring you this angry looking Jeep Wrangler sporting some pretty kick-ass Bi-xenon LED headlights. You get a Jurassic Park type of feel while you drive around in this creation, but without the murderous T-Rex trying to attack your precious new LED headlights. It’s a given that headlights are one of the most important aspects to off-roading so there’s no need to compromise quality.
