2014 SEMA Auto Show Part 2: Rocket Bunny

Since the Rocket Bunny movement exploded, there’s no denying that unmistakable wide body look and the insane tuning job. All of these Rocket Bunny built cars headed to SEMA this year and there are people left and right picking their jaws up off the floor in wonderment. The body is so stunning and fluid, giving the car a refined, yet aggressive stance.

Everywhere we looked, there were Rocket Bunny built cars giving us a wink and here are some of our favorites:

2014 SEMA Auto Show Part 1: 2015 Ford Mustang

Looks like it’s that time of the year again where people from all walks of the car world gather together in Sin City’s Las Vegas Convention Center to see all of the industry’s latest products, greatest goods, and most epic car builds. There’s no mistaking that bright eyed anticipation of what this year’s SEMA show will bring and showcase. Last year, SEMA brought out 125,000 thousand people and it looks like that number will only increase year after year. While the SEMA show is not opened to the public (imagine the stampede that would cause), we are still able to attend and bring you the latest and greatest at this year’s SEMA.

Previous years featured the Nissan GTR in 2010, Chevy Camaro in 2011, the twins Scion FR-S/ Subaru BRZ in 2012, and the Lexus IS 250 350 in 2013. So what about this year?

The star of the show this year is the 2015 Ford Mustang, and more importantly, the King Cobra in all of its fierce glory. The crowd just erupted in cheers as the King Cobra was unveiled for good reason: this American bred animal brings in 600hp to the table and can conquer the quarter-mile in under 11 seconds. Just take a deep breath and absorb that info for a second.

SPY SHOT: Future Car 2016 Audi Q7

Looks like LED lighting is ever evolving into one heck of a technological creation after another. The Audi Q7 comes with xenon projectors, but for about 2,000 more Euros, you can get a Q7 with the Matrix LED system. This upgrade maximizes visibility but at the same time, doesn’t blind oncoming traffic. We all know of that one car in the intersection who has their high beams on that you start seeing light auras even after you have driven off. This is not only inconvenient, but it’s also extremely dangerous.

The Q7 will also have a new grille design for a stronger front end look, for those who love to have an SUV that has reliability and fierceness combined.

SPY SHOT: Future Car 2016 Kia Optima

We see all sorts of vehicles for all walks of life testing on the Nurburgring, but sometimes these prototypes break down like the case of this 2016 Kia Optima. No worries for the driver or the engineer team, since there was a tow truck conveniently waiting to send the Optima back to the technical center.

Looks like we just have to wait and see what the car has in store for us when it comes back with a vengeance. Stay tuned for more news about the 2016 Kia Optima and what the engineers are doing to fix it.

SPY SHOT: Future Car 2017 Mercedes E-Class

What’s under this mysterious camo wrap? A Mercedes-Benz E-Class! You can’t really tell what’s underneath all of that secrecy, but what we know for sure is that the E-class will be even more appealing when it comes to design. It will be using the Mercedes’ new MRA (Modular Rear Architecture) platform and it’s also the one being used by the C-class as well. The new E-Class will be powered by an inline-six engine and is the start of a grand scheme of things.

All we need to do now is to stay tuned to what’s happening in the world of Mercedes-Benz and maybe we will be able to the camo unwrapped soon enough.
